Do you think we should standardize our ammunition?
Standardization: First High Senate Issue
This topic was originally in the improvement topic, but only united warrisions replied to it:
Members of hezar islands, I beleive that we should make the next step towards unity, and standardize rounds between our countries, in the case that we ever have to use each others ammunition, we will be able to do so. This will be a high senate topic for debate. We dont have to standardize weapons, just the ammo that they use.
Ammunition wise, my country has four main cartridges to offer:
the 6.5x43mm Ishten cartridge, with stopping power more similar to the russian 7.62 cartridge, but with a flatter trajectory and higher velocity, like the 5.56.
the 9x42mm round, the standard battle rifle and MG round. It has excellent stopping power, but has some trouble with kicking and has to have a recoil system. It works well however.
14.5x114mm round, our anti-material round. Its used in extremely heavy snipers and the KPV MG, and can rip a soldier to peices its so dangerous. Its got serious recoil, but the system used to control it makes the recoil almost null.
9.1x33mm SMG/Pistol round. Its your standard .357 magnum cartridge, with recoil systems that help absorb recoil. It serves its purpose against humans very well, and the effect it has is devestating, as it'll punch through body armour and some walls, similar to the 6.5 except with less killing power and punching power.

I do approve of this resolution. Though, It may take a while for us to replace our weapons with
ones which the Deshrenkovian ammunitions fit.
PS: The High Senate is responsible only for foreign affairs (sanctions, declarations of war, etc).

Our heavy snipers use an 80. calibre rifle, with a mounting bipod to reduce recoil, It also comes with a supressor.
As for heavy infantry, our most notable weapon is the Anti-Personell Electricity gun, or the A.P.E.
It comes with Fusion cell batteries, although each one only carries four charges.

I think we should stick to ballistic rounds for now, except on our tanks. A deshrenkovian company has been expirementing with a 130mm AT gauss cannon, that we can mount in our tanks to add some punch!
